Household garbage should be placed at the curb in the City-issued 95 gallon garbage cart by 6:00 AM on your scheduled collection day. If you do not have a curb, please place the container at the end of your driveway or along side the drive.
Excess garbage may be placed in sealed plastic bags and placed on top or beside your garbage cart. City crews cannot collect garbage scattered from broken / torn plastic bags or garbage in non City issued carts. Residents are issued one (1) City cart per address. If an additional cart is required, it can be leased for an additional fee of $3.00 per month for a period of twelve (12) months.

All carts bearing the City of Millington seal are City property and assigned to a specific address. Please record the serial number for reference and do not paint, write on, or deface the carts in any way. It is the homeowner's responsibility to replace if stolen or damaged by means other than normal use.
