The City of Millington has contracted Rogers Hydrant Service to perform routine fire hydrant testing, painting, and water main flushing beginning the week of June 2, 2025, and continuing throughout the month of June. Work will begin in the Millington View area and progress to other neighborhoods south of SR 385.
Maintenance activities will take place Monday through Friday, between 7:00 a.m. and 6:00 p.m.
During this time, residents may experience temporary discoloration of water. If this occurs, we recommend running your cold water tap for several minutes until the water runs clear. As a precaution, please avoid doing laundry until discoloration has fully cleared.
This essential operation ensures the proper functioning of the City’s fire hydrants and supports our ongoing commitment to delivering high-quality water service to our residents.
